As we practice social distancing, high-fives and hugs are on hold but the good vibes remain. This, too, shall make us stronger.
We love this bold message, and we couldn't agree more.

Our team pledges #AllInIllinois - for our families, for our friends, and for our community.
On April 2, @govpritzker introduced All In Illinois to unite residents across the state to continue to stay home and stay safe.
Now more than ever, we all need to do our part to support our communities.
We can slow the spread if we do it together. Our strongest weapon against COVID-19 is you.
Join us and take the pledge to being 'All In' — for our neighbors and grandparents, our health care professionals and first responders, our grocery store workers and so many more. Thank you for committing to being All in Illinois by staying safe and staying home.
Together, we are #AllinIllinois...

No Chicagoan should be left behind! In response to economic hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Family Independence Initiative - Chicago, with the support of the City of Chicago and in partnership with the Illinois Cash Coalition, and Chicago Independent Restaurants, has announced an emergency fund that will offer access to a one-time cash transfer to help supplement lost wages.⠀
If you love Chicago as much as we do, please donate to the #GiveTogetherNowChicago fund to make sure ALL of our neighbors have support in this crisis, including caretakers, seniors who can no longer work, and hospitality employees. *Please note: Emergency relief money at the federal level is only headed to some of those with Social Security numbers, and not immigrants with valid tax ID’s. ⠀
Any dollar amount counts. Join us in supporting our community by clicking the link in our bio....
Action needed now! The Keeping Workers Paid + Employed Act (a section of the stimulus bill passed in the Senate early this morning) was originally made to support us.
But after partisan disputes, last-minute changes opened up vital federal funding to larger franchisees -- the big guys that are now qualified will take over 50% of this allocated support. Masquerading these big guys as small businesses will literally kill local and independent businesses.
This bill is headed to the House -- NOW is the time to organize and more clearly define our needs. Speaking with one voice will show our leaders that #sizematters and we are #toosmalltofail.
To get involved, call your representative! Call the capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121. Tag your representatives. Our city’s soul and spirit depend on it.

🚨 URGE THE HOUSE TO PASS PHASE 3 RELIEF || By a vote of 96-0, the U.S. Senate has approved the CARES Act - the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act - a $2 trillion economic aid plan in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Moments ago, Speaker Pelosi confirmed that the House will vote to pass the legislation as is on Friday. Leader McConnell has said the next Senate vote will be on Monday, April 20.
Keeping the American Workers Paid and Employed Act is Division A of CARES, which provides $377 billion for Small Businesses and Nonprofits to meet their payroll and expenses. The IRA thanks Chairman Marco Rubio, Sen. Ben Cardin, Sen. Durbin, Sen. Collins, Sen. Shaheen, and Chairwoman Nydia Velasquez for their tireless efforts on this legislation.
Let's make sure the House passes the Phase 3 package on Friday.

Thank you to all the heroes and helpers out there: healthcare workers, janitors and custodial workers, food workers, farmers and suppliers, truck drivers, sanitation teams, security guards, grocery store clerks, teachers, mental health and social workers, journalists, scientists, pharmacists, caregivers, animal fosterers, mail carriers, and more.
Thank you to those who think it's a small thing to stay home, but these are the people, in addition to our neighbors and community most at-risk, who we stay home to protect.
Let's stay thankful and continue to spread good vibes and kindness.
