The Paramount Group (TPG) – a company revolutionizing the service industry through thoughtfully curated culinary and social experiences – has announced the acquisition of Truffleberry Market, an esteemed, bespoke catering company serving clients throughout Chicagoland, effective January 1, 2020.

 

Based in Chicago’s thriving West Loop community, TPG and its brands are owned and operated by native Chicagoan Jodi Fyfe, who founded the company in 2011 after 25 years of service at the highest levels in catering, events and restaurants. With the intent of elevating the quality of cuisine, hospitality and range of capabilities in the hospitality realm, TPG has grown under Fyfe’s direction to include business extensions in catering (Paramount Events, her first company); private event spaces (The Lakewood, HighGround); staffing (Lake Street Staffing); artisan retail (West Lake Market); restaurants (Eden); business dining (in-house corporate culinary services), fresh ingredient/meal delivery (Paramount Fresh) and more.

 

The addition of a second, high-touch catering company to TPG portfolio was born of a long-standing relationship between Fyfe and Truffleberry Market Co-Founder Brittany Jelinek. The two women entrepreneurs have cross-collaborated on events for several years, and their business rapport has always been one of kinship, support and like-mindedness. As Jelinek was exploring future plans in tandem with Truffleberry Market’s lease expiry (her team had outgrown their current space in Westmont, IL) she began seeking options that would allow her company to grow with enhanced business infrastructure, space and staffing. Fyfe, who is continually evaluating opportunities for expansion and innovation, was motivated to purchase.
